P1JC have been learning all about money. We were identifying coins up to 10p and playing games to understand their value. We played the purse game, we threw a dice and moved around the board picking up pennies on the way. The winner was the first person with 10 pennies in their purse. We used the ipads to pay the correct number of pennies for items in a shop. We ordered the numicon and put the correct number of pennies in each piece. We had a pretend shop and had to pay the correct amount of the item on the card. We had great fun!
