We had lots of fun exploring length outside. In a group we had to gather our equipment, thinking about to carry it all safely. We got a plank, a crate, a tyre, some toy cars and a few pieces of chalk.
We made a ramp and ran out cars down. Marking with chalk how far they travelled. We then changed our ramps to see if our cars would travel a longer distance. During our investigation we used lots of mathematical language such as, longer, further, higher, up, and down.
