Dear Parents,
We were all deeply saddened by the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll and extend our heartfelt condolences and sympathy to The Royal Family at this difficult time.
Although our pupils are young and have different levels of understanding, we are of course taking our lead from them. We are answering any questions or statements in an age appropriate manner and in a way that will not cause alarm, distress or anxiety.
As a mark of respect and in line with DE guidance, the school will be closed on Monday 19th September, the day of the State Funeral.
School will re-open on Tuesday at the normal time. The Primary 2 information evening has been re-scheduled to Wednesday 21st September at 7.30pm. After school clubs will resume on 26th September and continue one week later than originally advertised.
