Important Transition Information from Strandtown

Dear Parent,

We cannot wait to welcome your child to Strandtown. Unfortunately, we

still have no guidance on when that will be.

The first step in this transition journey is to inform you of your child’s class

teacher and reassure you that the teachers and special needs co-ordinators

do a thorough handover of information. Your child will be known to us long

before they sit at a desk in our classrooms.

Mrs McKittrick’s class will be going to Miss McMullan

Mrs Sandikli’s class will be going to Mrs McCoy

Miss Gorman’s class will be going to Mrs Canning and Mrs Bell

We have a handover pack of information to share with you and we will be

doing this by way of a Strandtown ‘Drive Thru’. The pack will contain

important information about school, forms to be returned and a letter from

your child’s teacher.

On Tuesday 16th June you can drive onto the school site to collect this pack

from your child’s class teacher, between 9.30 - 11.30 am. We hope that

your child will be in the car to say hello.

You arrive only through the North Road main gates. Please drive slowly and

follow directions up the path.

You must stay in your car.

This will allow us to issue forms for your completion, which will provide the

communication details we will use to update you on starting back to school.

Forms will be returned at a later date to school and you will be informed of

a designated area for their return.

Any packs not collected will be posted out.
