We had fun exploring the Numicon pieces using playdough. First of all we ordered the pieces from smallest to largest. We then had to squish our playdough to make a pancake and made imprints using the Numicon pieces. Each time we predicted how many bumps the piece would create. We explored how we could use 2 pieces and counted the total number of bumps they made in the dough.
