We are learning to recognise coins and count pennies. Today we played a game where we had to count 1p coins and race against a partner to see who filled their purse with 10p first!
We also enjoyed estimating and measuring the length of different objects. In P1 we use lots 'non standard units' such as cubes, bricks, sticks to measure. Our estimating was really good.
