This week our Numeracy has taken a festive theme!
We have been very busy working on our number recognition. We used dice to roll numbers and then place the red pom pom onto the correct reindeer. To make it trickier we even used 2 dice and counted the dots together.
We had to solve a problem for Santa. There was a tray to fill with different sections and each section had to have a cup of milk, cookie and mince pie BUT we had to fill each section of tray with each of the 3 items in a different combination. So mince pie, cookie and milk, then mince pie, milk and cookie. There were 6 combinations in total. Lots of fabulous problem solving.
There was also super counting going on using the iPads and pattern making activities.
