We spent lots of time exploring the value of numbers as well as the number that comes after a number and in between numbers.
We had to lace the correct amount of beads onto each Numicon piece. Some of us even used the correct colour too! Really great thinking.
Using magnetic and spongy numbers we looked at number grids where numbers were missing. We had to add the correct number. Using the numbers we then created our own number grids. Positioning each number correctly.
We then recorded the missing numbers on an activity page.
During our Numeracy Task Time we work in groups, share resources, work independently on some tasks as well as with Mrs McP and Mrs Patterson for others and tidy up so that the stations are ready for the next groups! P1 is always very busy.
