The sun was shining this afternoon as we went outside to practise our segmenting and blending skills.
Working in pairs we made our way around different baskets. Each basket had a picture and some sound tiles inside. We had to say the word and segment (pull apart) the sounds that we could hear. We then ordered the sound tiles into the correct position and blended the sounds together to check they were correct. We then recorded the words using our pencils, recording pages and clipboards.
