The children worked in groups of 2 or 3’s.
Each group had a clip board , a recording sheet and a pencil.
There were trays scattered around the playground, each contained some sounds and a picture clue.
The children had to arrange the sounds into a CVC word to match the picture. They took turns recording the words on their page.
We had great fun doing our literacy outside.
