We had a busy maths day, we made shape pizza’s and recorded the number of each shape . We designed and decorated amazing shape hats. We focused our practical maths activities all about shape. We made pictures using 2d shapes. We used lollipop sticks and play doh to make 2d shapes. We used the straws to make 2d shapes and sorted everyday objects into groups of circles, squares, triangles and rectangles. We had a very special maths assembly and sang our shape song. We all came to school wearing maths themes e.g. patterns, shapes, numbers and numicon . Thank you parents for the fab outfits and to Mrs Scholes who gave us all a very special maths day certificate for all our hard work.
