In non number activities we focus on the other areas of maths rather than just number. We have been developing our early coding skills using Beebot. We had to count the squares on the 3 little pigs mat and program him to get to one of the houses. We were exploring 2d and 3D shape . We made rockets, towers, people and all sorts of pictures with them. We were weighing with the numicon, trying to see which pieces were heavier, lighter and which combined weighed the same. We used the dinosaurs and the transport materials to complete our Carroll diagrams using two criteria. We had lots of fun learning 😊
