The children went outdoors for maths and did some measuring. They each drew a line with a piece of chalk to mark their level starting point. They chose at least 5 sticks of different lengths and ordered them smallest to biggest on their chalk line.
The children used the remainder of the sticks to make their names. They loved being able to read each others names on the ground.
