In science we looked at how different animals keep warm, penguins huddle together, polar bears have two layers of fur and whales have blubber. We used some lard (fat) and put it in between two plastic bags. We the then put one hand in the bag and placed it into a bucket of ice cold water to prove that the lard ( blubber) would keep it warm. It was very interesting.
