What a fabulous day we had! The sun was shining and the excitement was clear to see from the minute the bus left school. We arrived at the farm and enjoyed a yummy snack of juice and biscuits to fuel our energy. Jackie , our tour guide took us on a tractor ride to see and feed the red deer. Then we went to milk Buttercup the pretend cow before going to see where and how the real cows are milked. Next we visited Pets corner and saw horses and ponies, one was called Sophie! There were guines pigs, goats, lambs and pigs to look at too. We petted rabbits, chicks, puppies and fed a lamb. We had our picnic lunch and a play in the park before heading back to school. Thank you to the parent helpers for coming today and thank you boys and girls for super behaviour and a fabulous visit to the farm.
