To celebrate Belmont Maths Day this Thursday (23rd) Bricks4Kids visited today. In pairs we used instructions to build police officers, ambulances, bulldozers etc which tied in with our ‘People Who Help Us’ topic. We were given ‘jobs’ in our pairs….one child was the ‘seeker’ and one was the ‘builder’. We had to listen to each other and work as a team. Then we swapped over so each had a turn. We were also given time to free play with Lego and build our own creations!
