To complete our ‘People Who Help Us’ topic the children in P1LB dressed up as people who help us in the community. Every child looked fantastic! We had police officers, doctors, nurses, vets, builders, dentists, , a make-up artist, football coaches, baker/chef and a binman. We designed superhero capes for these everyday superheroes. We also had a ‘treasure hunt’ in the playground….. We had to listen carefully to the clues and match the correct picture in the playground. We made emergency vehicles/people/equipment out of junk materials and masking tape. We worked collaboratively in pairs to design our own town maps using pictures of places where people who help us work. We had such a fun day!
