This week, as part of our new topic ‘People who help us’ we have been learning about the job of a fire fighter with Mrs Braniff and our lovely student teacher Miss Magill.
During Language activities we wrote sentences about a fire scene using our phonic sounds and key words and made burning buildings using our fine motor skills.
In shared writing, together as a class, we wrote facts about a fire fighter.
During reading activities we labelled a fire fighter’s uniform.
During play based learning we went outside in small groups and painted fires and had fun ‘extinguishing’ the fires using squirty bottles!
