On Friday we participated in a skittles experiment. We copied and continued a pattern using red, yellow, green, purple and orange skittles. We each had a turn placing a skittle in the pattern. We predicted and tested what would happen if we added water…..we were right! The water dissolved the food colouring and created a rainbow pattern on the plate. When we mixed the colours at the end the new colour was brown!
