As part of our topic ‘Stories from Long Ago’ we read ‘Goldilocks and the 3 bears’. For shared writing we retold the story (Mrs Braniff scribed for us), drew a story map, learnt a song about Goldilocks, and wrote an apology letter from Goldilocks to the 3 bears promising to fix Baby Bear’s chair. These activities were followed by the children designing and constructing their own chair for Baby Bear using construction materials.
