This week in Numeracy task time we are continuing to work on our addiction strategies. One group were using Numicon to add and record their answers on whiteboards. Another group played a game and hopped on using their number lines to work out the answers. Some children worked independently and recorded their answers in their maths books. They also practised number formation and drew 14 conkers. We have also been working on our mental maths by counting on from different starting numbers to help with our adding. The children are getting very confident at this and are beginning to share their strategies with the class. Well done children 👏
