We were delighted to have our classrooms filled with children again this week. They have been very busy with our Julia Donaldson topic and had lots learning in play too. We painted forests for the Gruffalo characters, painted a character from The Gruffalo story using a computer program, retold the story of a The Gruffalo using puppets, made seasonal and time jigsaws, created 'Wanted' posters for the dragon from Room on the Broom, created 'a truly magnificent broom' using our imaginations, played iPad games using The Gruffalo app, tapped a shape to help with our fine motor skills, played Gruffalo snap and looked at lots of Julia Donaldson stories. What a busy play!
