Today we did a Science experiment.
We always start experiments by asking questions. Our questions today were 1. What are clouds made from? 2. Why does it rain?
Then we got our equipment ready - a cup of water and some shave foam (our cloud), pipettes and blue water (our raindrops).
After getting our equipment ready we discussed what we would keep the same and what we would change. Then we made predictions about what we thought would happen when we dropped our rain into the clouds (shave foam).
We made some interesting discoveries. When the cloud gets too heavy, the drops of water fall through as rain! Gravity pulls them down from the clouds as rain, just like in the experiment.
