This week our big book is ‘The Room on the Broom’ by Julia Donaldson. The story involves a kind witch who made lots of animal friends who flew with her on her broom. Together, the witch and the animals made a potion which resulted in a ‘truly magnificent broom’. In our outdoor classroom, we had a visit from the FABULOUS witch from the story who mixed together baking soda, food colouring, glitter and vinegar. We watching the ingredients mix together and erupt into a great explosion! It really was truly magnificent!!!
