Every year we make clay hedgehogs in P2 and they are absolutely amazing.
Part one: The class loved moulding and shaping their hedgehog using their hands and different tools to make the spines.
Then they looked at them everyday as they dried out little by little, ready to paint.
Part three: Finally, they then took so much care when painting their hedgehogs, choosing the correct colours and adding little details to make them special.
Part 3 will be when the hedgehogs are ready to hibernate in their specially handmade hedgehog home (shoe box) and they will be taken home to be well looked after.
