This week we read the lovely story, The Invisible String By Patrice Karst.
I have used this story in my family when my girls have felt a little nervous when we have been apart. The class loved the story and enjoyed creating a picture of how many strings they have in their family. They liked knowing that they are still connected to their special people even when they are not together.
A simple but very comforting thought when growing up and learning to be independent.
