What a fantastic visit we had today from our friend Don Scott. Don has been coming to Belmont for years with his pet owls that he rescued when they were babies (owlets).
The P2 classes all took turns to see the Owls in the assembly hall. Don told the children all about each of his owls and some facts that they will be able to use in their independent writing tomorrow.
Unfortunetly Don didn't have any hedgehogs for us to see as he hasn't needed to rescue any recently which is great news!
