P2DG Special skill 🥰
22nd Mar 2024
Last week we were learning in school how people communicate with each other in many different languages. The P2 children learned that people who are deaf or have impaired hearing use sign language to communicate. We sent home the finger spelling alphabet for homework so that the children could talk with their family about it and have a go at spelling their name.
We had the great privilege of having Ella’s Mummy in this morning as she studied British Sign Language so that she could communicate with hearing impaired people when in work. She went over the alphabet with us and taught us a few sentences.
Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful skill with us.
