P2GS Belmont Maths Day 🧮
Today we had a special Maths Day. We all looked fabulous in our wristbands and in our maths themed non-uniform. Well done and thank you for making this special effort.
In Art, we designed a Maths themed kite and sang ‘let’s go fly a kite’ for our music.
Mrs S then read us a story about a guinea pig who had three babies. Using ten lollipop sticks, we had to build a new home for them and work out all the possibilities. It was tricky to record our findings but we did a great job.
We also made a bar graph to find out favourite subjects in P2 and discovered that PE was the most popular. We agreed that we like all of the subjects and that it was a tricky choice!
In the afternoon we had a Maths Assembly to share our day and performed our doubles rap. It was fun to hear the other classes perform their songs too.
