We had such a lovely morning for our outdoor play session. The sun was shining and the children had great fun playing on the scooters, making ‘soup’ in the mud kitchen, taking turns to play snakes & ladders and noughts & crosses, being creative with chalk to draw sea creatures, getting physical with our balance boards and parachute, having a treasure hunt in our sensory sand tray, and enjoying some quiet time in our sea life reading area. It was so beautiful in the afternoon that we had our big book story ‘Commotion in the Ocean’ at the picnic tables outside. Hopefully the sun will keep shining and we will have lots of lovely outdoor experiences for our final term of P2. 🐠
