We had a brilliant pet day today.
In the morning Elsa the Vet from Earlswood Vets did a lovely talk about her job. She showed us x-rays and taught us how to brush a dog’s teeth and bandage a cat’s arm. Her dog Isla was very old and gentle so she let us give her a stroke.
We then met Susie the tortoise and Black Beauty the rabbit who belonged to two members of our class (thank you parents for sharing these lovely pets with us!). We then took turns to talk about our own pets and even met some hungry caterpillars.
After lunch Rebekah came to visit us. She showed us a giant bunny, a tiny tortoise and a ferret.
It was such a special day and interesting to learn about lots of different types of pets.
