This week the children used their Numeracy skills to build a wall of the story of 5 using cuisenaire, cover the area of nocturnal animals using counters, sort 2D shapes using a Carroll diagram, sort socks and shoes into pairs, sort Numicon into odd and even, and programme Bluebot to draw lines and shapes.
We also explored Maths in the outdoors by estimating and counting lots of things in the playground. We were all able to make sensible estimates and did some super counting.
