King Lazybones had 8 servants each with a different job e.g. a cook or a gardener. Every time King Lazybones wants something, he rings a bell and all 8 servants come running. One day the servants are so fed up running that the inventor decided to create a different code for each of them. The code was created using 3 sounds and 2 musical instruments e.g. bell, bell, triangle or triangle, bell, triangle.
The children took on the job of the inventor and had their own try and creating as many codes as they could. Mrs S was amazed at their problem solving and recording. Hopefully King Lazybones won’t be lazy again!
