As part of our new topic about pets, we had a ‘Pet Day’. Some of us brought in our pets from home and we talked about how we look after them. We had a visit from a hamster, a rabbit, a tortoise and even some tadpoles! We talked about what pets we have at home and if we didn’t have a pet, what pet we would like. We also had a visit from Diane, the veterinary nurse from Earlswood vets. She let some children dress up as a vet and we got to bandage the sick cat’s leg. We got to feel some animal’s teeth and look at some real x-rays. It was so much fun!
