Our topic the term is about the supermarket and other shops. We will be focusing a lot of money and using different amounts of coins to pay for items. Today we ordered the coins from the smallest to biggest value and then worked in groups to complete different activities such as money dominoes, filling purses with the correct amount of coins, money bingo, sorting coins into colour and shape categories and playing the piggy bank game on the iPads. It was lots of fun and helped prepare us for learning more about money.
