Today we started our new topic for Play Based Learning. We have been reading the story of Jack and the beanstalk. We played in the castle role play area and acted out the characters of Jack, Jack’s mum, the cow, the giant and police officers. We have also been learning about Spring and how plants grow so planted some flowers with soil. We made Spring bookmarks, printed bricks onto the giant’s castle with paint and played the Mr Wolf game on the iPad since we have been learning about time in Numeracy. We also built a castle with the duplo and practised coding on the computers. There are lots of fun things do to in Play Based Learning over the next couple of weeks!
