P2SM Maths Day
We had lots of fun during Maths Day! We played Maths games and then we made a list of all the ways in which we use Maths everyday. From our alarm clocks going off in the morning, to reading road signs, to measuring the right about of water to fill our water bottles. Our list went on and on. After that we made a pictogram to show the favourite pets of the boys and girls in our class. We had to collect the information first and then presented it on a chart. Following this we carried out a Maths Investigation where we had to make a new pen for a guinea pig who had had babies. Even our Art was about Maths! We finished the day with a Maths assembly and enjoyed finding out if our estimations about how many haribos were in a jar were correct.
