We are really enjoying our Play Based Learning Sessions as part of our Shopping topic. We visit the supermarket and take on roles of customers and shop keepers and then go to our cafe afterwards! We have been exploring how to pay for things using money as well as writing our own shopping lists at the Writing Area. Using everyday items we have been carrying out investigations to work out how much each item holds and have been using the mathematical term 'capacity'.
