P2 have been learning about making predictions and observations. We took some everyday items - salt, sugar, rice and sand and mixed them with water to see which would dissolve. We explored what the word dissolve meant. For our experiment we worked in pairs. Together we talked about what we thought would happen - we made our predictions. We then had to first of all make sure that we had all the items on our list. After that we added a pinch of each item to some water and used a stick to stir them. We then recorded our observations and shared our results with our classmates.
