Today we had a super Maths day. We started the day making a Maths hat. We thought of many words and signs related to Maths. We then used a metre of wool to create a fun picture. As the weather was so good we went outside for our maths investigation. We worked in groups and followed an instruction cards. We had to draw trees and flowers that were less or greater than a metre with a specific number of leaves and roots. We used chalk and metre rulers. This afternoon we had fun playing a variety of number games using all our skills. We all really enjoyed watching the video of the whole school singing and talking about numeracy and what we enjoy doing in class. It was a very busy day but great fun.
