Today we had great fun walking up to Belmont Park to complete 4 different Maths activities using many skills. We had to complete a tally chart marking down joggers, walkers, dog walkers, people with prams etc. A second activity was writing down car registration plates and then making up a sum using the numbers in the plate. The third task was locating different shapes all around the park and recording what they were. Finally we had to see how many star jumps, squats, hops and scissor jumps we could do in a minute. We really enjoyed all the activities and we ended with a play in the play park.
