We had 2 exciting outdoor lessons today linked to our Homes topic. Firstly we used clipboards to make a tally of all the different materials we could see in the school environment including metal, wood, plastic, glass and brick. We discussed the reasons why we use specific materials for various uses. We then worked in groups and used a range of materials to create a bungalow, flats,a semi-detached house and a detached house. What a busy afternoon! 🏠🏡🏚🏘
