We have had so much fun learning about different types of fruit and vegetables. We enjoyed looking at the inside of an apple and learning to name the different parts. We also carried out a scientific investigation observing how a chemical reaction happens when we mix vinegar and baking soda to create an apple volcano.
We brought in our own fruit or vegetable to show and describe. We learnt about the artist Paul Cezanne and created our own still life picture with oil pastels. We loved shopping in our role play area buying items. We sorted the different foods into shopping bags according to their food group. In Ict we learnt how to use book creator adding images/text to make a book about the fruit and vegetables.
