We have been totally engrossed in our Julia Donaldson topic. Using Loose Parts we retold the story of The Gruffalo and made the different places from the story. We have been exploring shapes and creating rockers for The Smeds and The Smoos and have been using our mouse skills to paint our favourite Julia Donaldson characters using the 2Simple programme on the computers. After we read the story of The Girl,The Bear and the Magic Shoes we decided we wanted to create our own Magic shoes with amazing powers at the Message Centre. We designed them and then had to add labels to describe them. As you can see we have lots of fun learning through Play.
