This week we scooped out a pumpkin! We talked about its size, its shape and colour and also where pumpkins grow. We cut off the top to make a lid, then scooped out the seeds. They were really messy. We even discovered that you can actually eat the seeds as a healthy snack. After that we drew a face and cut it out. Mrs McP said she had to use her muscle power as the pumpkin was really thick.
Following this we wrote some instructions during Literacy, just in case someone doesn't know how to scoop out a pumpkin!
