Scientists in P1SM 🧪

On Friday we used sweets, water and a plate to carry out a science experiment. 

There were instructions we had to follow. 

First of all, we placed the sweets around the rim of a plate, in a pattern. 

Then, we poured some water around the sweets. We made predictions about what we thought might happen. 

Next, we observed! We saw the water changing colour and described what what happening. 

Finally, we looked at the bottom of the sweets and saw they were white! The water had made the coloured sugar coating dissolve!
