Update on Provision
Dear Parents,
We hope home learning is going well and that you are adapting to this temporary new norm. We understand the pressures that this brings on you and sincerely hope school will re-open as soon as it is safe to do so.
Currently our staff are supervising large numbers of key worker children for at least half of each week. In addition, they are planning and preparing all activities, video demonstrations and arranging/ participating in video conference calls with your children. Obviously administration, liaison and staff meetings also continue to take place. We know that this is all hugely beneficial for our pupils but would ask you to be aware that emails will be answered within 48 hours Monday - Friday, dependent on teacher supervision and planning schedules.
For those key workers who have children in school, we continue to ask you to only use the school when work patterns necessitate this. Please complete the booking form by Thursday at the latest for the following week to ensure health and safety and appropriate supervision levels. Please help us by not requesting additional days without the adequate notice. Remember to send in home learning packs if you would like these completed (though we understand you may prefer to do them at home) We feel that reading is important for parent and child to share. Therefore Bug Club should be completed at home.
We are very grateful for the many kind comments of support that we have received and look forward to seeing samples of work each week. Thank you for doing everything possible to help us reduce the risk of transmission and for your ongoing support.
Best wishes
O Mcilroy
