Today, as part of our Language and Literacy, we went on a bear hunt!
In our classroom we listened to the story of We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen. We even sang a bear hunt song.
Then we went outside for some fun!
We listened to clues and had to find the bear that matched the clue.
When we came back inside we sequenced the story and made a story map with Mrs McPherson. A story map, tells the story using pictures.
At our tables we used our whiteboards and pens to draw circles and make our own bears as well as our first try at our own story maps!
