What a busy World Maths Day! We started the day with lots of different maths play based learning activities . We decorated maths hats with lots of numeracy things that we have been learning about. We made a pictograph of who brought us to school and tried to guess how many sweets were in a jar. We carried out a maths investigation using unifix cubes to find the area of some envelopes. We watched each class sing a maths song and talk about how we use maths everyday in our whole school virtual assembly. We showed our fabulous shape monsters that we had made for homework this week. Phew 😅 so much maths all around !
