We learnt all about Shrove Tuesday today and used a trundle wheel to measure the diameter of the world's biggest pancake which was in Rochdale in 1994. We chalked the 15 metre diameter and held hands to show the length across the centre of the pancake. We worked out that the pancake would cover most of our playground. We wonder how they cooked it?!
